Make a Difference
Make A Difference (MAD) is one of two pledge programs of UnitingWorld’s Relief and Development Unit. MAD consists of four different projects that donors can choose to support. Each project is in a different country and focuses on a different area of our work.
The Four MAD Projects are:
- Zambia Jordan Community School
- PNG Village Water Supply
- East Timor Food Security
- India Vocational Training
From its foundation the Uniting Church has supported its overseas mission partners in their efforts to alleviate poverty. We have always believed that helping a man, woman or child whose life is being destroyed by poverty is part of what it means to be involved in ‘mission’.
UnitingWorld makes a commitment to stand with our partner churches as they seek to make a difference in the lives of those struggling. You can help to transform communities for life.
